White Balance (15/11/2019)

I chose this photo because it stood out the most. Compared to all the settings, the custom preset white balance had more of a natural look to it. It wasn't too blown out. The colours were the best and quite warm. I turned down the temperature to a more cooler colour to add some contrast.

I took many photos from this view on different white balance settings. Much of them were the same but the most appealing one of all was this one with a Fluorescent setting.

This was taken with a preset white balance. I took a white piece of paper and adjusted the settings according to the sunlight exposure. I think this is a great setting on most photos. I also cooled the photo to give it a colder winter vibe to it.

For this I chose Preset white balance again. I find it exposes the photos to the proper light. I added warmth to make it a little nice and pleasing photo.

Photo-Essay (11/11/2019)

This Photo really caught my eye for reasons I do not know. It is very creepy and dark yet warm and comforting. For starters, the photos give the impression that the little girl has lost her father /mother and she checks the coat seeing that it is empty, that is, until she falls asleep and the coat takes form which the proceeds to pick the little girl up, maybe to bring her to bed. That is the concept that I gathered from this. It is quite a powerful series of photos that can be interpreted in different ways.

Another concept would be that she is checking to make sure no Boogyman is there and when she falls asleep, the coat forms and takes her away.

Photo Lab 25/10/2019

I chose this first one because it is just so vright and happy. I love how it makes me feel.

What grabbed my attention the muost here was the sun creeping in through the trees with a camera glare/bokeh in the bottom left corner.
I love the colours and the contrasting bushes here. it has a real Autumn vibe with a bit of balance on both sides of the photo
I do love a lone leaf shot. Small and isolated, i thought it would look good on a post with a nice vibrant background to make it pop.

Photography Class 19/10/2019

I am not sure why I like this, or why I shot this for that matter. But I do like it, the difference between the organic background and mechanic rooftop and shapes.
This reminded me of a New York city rooftop during sunrise on a beautiful morning. It's just simple yet transports me mentally to NYC.
A silhouette photo is always a beautiful photo. This one with the trees and pylon silhouette caught my eye.
One for sorrow, two for joy. I took this right before he flew away. I like how plain and simple it is.
Now if anyone knows me, they know I love animals and vibrant flowers. This in particular, is a gorgeous flower of which I can't name. I love the plain tree and grass compared to the flower that really pops out at you.
